Dr. Jason Kautz (left) presents the Freshman Spotlight award to Kory Ballew. Nominated by Kautz, visiting assistant professor in chemistry, Ballew is honored for perfect attendance in Chemistry I lecture and lab courses and for being a dedicated student. He is an electrical engineering major from Fairfield. Honorees receive a Freshman Spotlight certificate and a $10 gift certificate to the campus bookstore. Faculty and staff may nominate a freshman by sending an e-mail tofreshmanspotlight@uttyler.edu.
