Alpha
Omega Presentation
Dr. Ann Guilbert presents a Waterford clock to Dr. Shirley Jones
during the Alpha Omega Luncheon Oct. 21 at the Cowan Center. Jones
was presented the clock in recognition of her recent retirement
from the College of Education and Psychology. The UT Tyler faculty
senate and provost/vice president for academic affairs sponsors
the luncheon annually to introduce new faculty, celebrate the accomplishments
of those who have been promoted and granted tenure and recognize
recent retirees.
Dr. Scott Hansen presents Dr. James Sellers with a Waterford clock
to recognize Sellers on his retirement from the College of Business
and Technology.
Members of the Ad Hoc Committee for the Alpha Omega Luncheon include,
from left, Dr. Molly Johnson, Dr. Ann Beebe, Dr. Jill Blondin, Dr.
James Hatfield, faculty senate president, Dr. MaryEllen Wright,
Dr. Barbara Haas and Dr. Carolyn Bitzenhofer. Dr. Jeffrey Mountain
also is a member of the committee.
