‘Student Learning Community’ Tour

The Nursing Student Learning Community toured the David G. and Jacqueline M. Braithwaite Building, the new home of the College of Nursing and Health Sciences, on Sept. 29. The Nursing SLC is a group of 19 freshman-level students who have decided to major in nursing and are enrolled in three courses and a freshman year experience seminar together.

During the tour the students viewed the nursing skills labs, computer lab and classrooms. Pictured in the nursing skills lab are Taryn Arnold, Kaleigh Arthur, Terresa Bowie, Farrah Cathey, Lindsay Champagne, Elena Hernandez, Mary Priscilla Hodge, Jen Legrand, Niquita Loeffler, Jacqueline Nash, Natalie Standford and Laci Thomas. Instructors are Patti Conger, Dr. Luke Niiler and Krista Richardson.
