A four and one-half day schedule is planned for the summer of 2004. The summer schedule will begin on Monday, May 10, and continue through Friday, Aug. 13. Business hours for administrative offices will be 7:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday, and 7:30 a.m.- 11:30 a.m. Friday. Specific class schedules are being determined by the office of the provost and deans, and will be announced at a later date. In an effort to reduce operating costs, UT Tyler operated on a four-day week, following a Monday through Thursday schedule, for the summer of 2003.
