Members of the UT Tyler community are invited to hear details on the revised campus master plan at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 5, in Room 401 at the library. Vice President for Business Affairs Jim Ferguson is hosting the discussion. Also in attendance will be Vice President for Student Affairs and External Relations Dale Lunsford and Physical Plant Director Chip Clark. The campus master plan has been revised and is scheduled for review by the UT Board of Regents in November. On Sept. 5, information on upcoming campus construction projects will be provided. Construction underway or scheduled to start soon includes an additional parking lot north of the Cowan Center, renovation of the campus lakes, soccer field, power plant, baseball/softball facility, student apartments and Engineering, Science and Technology building. Also to be discussed are construction projects on campuses in Longview and Palestine.
