Ryan Hatcher, a sophomore men’s soccer player from Wichita Falls, has been named UT Tyler Athlete of the Week for Sept. 8-14. In two of the Patriot’s three wins this year, Hatcher has scored the game winning goal. He missed the season opener due to injury. “Ryan has made an instant impact on the field which has sparked us to our 3-0 record,” said head coach Kenny Jones. “Ryan is the guy that never complains. He just gets the job done and frequently reminds the rest of his teammates to do the same. His teammates have now looked to him to be a leader, which he has consistently done with no problems.” Hatcher is the second leading point scorer on the team, behind sophomore Daniel Browning. He attended Wichita Falls High School. The
