UT Tyler sophomore Ginger Gorden lifts
weights, with freshman Laquita Patton helping out during an advanced
weight training class at the Herrington Patriot Center. Both are
members of the 2003-04 women’s basketball team.

Members of UT Tyler’s 2003-04 women’s
basketball team receive guidance from instructor Jeff Holland during
their advanced weight training class. The student athletes lift
weights four days a week and learn conditioning skills taught by
Holland, a graduate student at UT Tyler and assistant football coach
and strength and conditioning coach at Tyler Junior College. The
student athletes are (from left) freshman Alycia Nabors from Fort
Worth; freshman Angelina Harris, Desoto; freshman LaQuita Patton,
Kennard; sophomore Ginger Gorden, Fort Worth; and freshman Stephanie
Roberson, Sanger.
