A native of Kaufman and a transfer from Hill College, Trail plays right side hitter for the Patriots. Coming to UT Tyler with an A grade average, she is a natural leader on and off the court according to head volleyball coach Rachel Short. “She is extremely consistent and versatile on the court and knows how to win; her work ethic is exceptional,” said Short. “I can always count on her to push hard during practice. Tami has the attitude of a true competitor. She knows how to have fun doing what she loves but at the same time she demands a high level of performance from herself.” Trail was selected to the all-tournament team at the Big Country Classic in Abilene last weekend where the Patriots opened their season.
