President’s Appreciation Week April 19-23

“Spring Fever’’ will be the theme of this year’s President's Appreciation Week to be held April 19-23 at UT Tyler. Recreational activities are planned for each afternoon.

All offices will remain open during the week. Participation requires the approval of the supervisor and coordination to minimize service disruption.

As in years past, a highlight of the week will be the luncheon on Friday for faculty, staff, retirees and families. The luncheon will be 11 a.m.-1 p.m. in the HPC Maytee Fisch Convocation Center. The event will be catered by Spring Creek Barbecue. Entertainment will be provided by the UT Tyler Wind Ensemble.

All benefits-eligible employees also can choose to participate in two of the following events:

Monday, April 19
Putt Putt Golf, 1:30 p.m. Two games, a drink and ice cream, two tokens.
Dance Lesson. 1-3 p.m., HPC Aerobics Dance Room. Electric slide.

Tuesday, April 20
Bowling, 1:30 p.m., Green Acres Bowling Alley. Two games, free shoes, a drink and popcorn.

Wednesday, April 21
Fun Fit Day, 1-4 p.m., HPC. Swimming, hot tub, ping pong, racquet ball, basketball, weight room, jogging track, etc.

Thursday, April 22
Movie, 1:30 p.m., Times Square Theatre (participant’s expense).

Friday, April 23
Golf, 1 p.m., Briarwood Country Club (participant’s expense; fee is $25).
Movie, 1:30 p.m., Times Square Theatre (participant’s expense).
