Open to the public, the performances will begin at 7:30 p.m. April 23-24 and 3 p.m. April 25 in the University Center. For reservations, contact the UT Tyler music program at 903-566-7250. The production will feature the music of Irving Berlin, Stephen Sondheim, Duke Ellington, Stephen Swartz and others, under the direction of Dr. Mark Johnson, assistant professor of music. The 20-member ensemble, consisting of full-time UT Tyler students, made its debut in the fall. The group was formed to represent the university on campus and throughout the East Texas region and state.
