The UT Tyler Office of News and Information received two awards in the 2004 Council for Advancement and Support of Education District IV Awards Competition. This is the second consecutive year that UT Tyler has been recognized by CASE. UT Tyler received a Grand Award/Gold for the UT Tyler Recruitment Spots and Achievement Award/Bronze for the Admissions Web site front page (www.go2uttyler.com). Winners were announced at an awards ceremony April 5, during the 2004 CASE District IV Conference in Houston. The district includes Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico and Mexico. An organization
for advancement professionals in alumni relations, communications
and development, CASE annually recognizes outstanding work in the
advancement arena. Entries are judged by a panel of experts who
are not current advancement professionals in the district.
