Debate
Team Ranks Second in State
The
UT Tyler debate team ranked 20th out of 248 colleges and universities
that participated this year in tournaments sanctioned by the
National Parliamentary Debate Association, Dr. Jeffrey Hobbs,
debate coach, announced.
This
places UT Tyler as second in the state for the 2003-04 school

Computer
Science Receives Grant for Tablet PCs
The
computer science department received two Hewlett-Packard Tablet
PCs, valued at $2,400 each, under the HP/TETC Table PC Grant
program.
Hewlett-Packard
is partnering with TETC to provide grants in support of innovation
in higher education aimed at increasing the number of computer
science graduates from Texas universities. More>>
