Thirteen Palestine area community leaders have been named to the development council for The University of Texas at Tyler Palestine Campus, announced UT Tyler President Rodney H. Mabry. The development council is responsible for assisting in the fundraising and promotional efforts of the campus.
“We are so pleased to be working with such wonderful community leaders. Their expertise and commitment to the UT Tyler Palestine Campus will be very helpful in our efforts to broaden the exposure of the campus,” said Nancy Lamar, UT Tyler executive director of university advancement. Council members include Brenda Barber, David Barnard, Judge Bascom Bentley, Johnny Elfarr, Frank George, Jackie Gragg, Andrew Gregory, Larry Ivy, Byron Ryder, Cathy Stark, Blake Starkey, Ken Teel and Cad Williams.
