Canned Food Drive Continues Through Dec. 10

Students, faculty and staff can make donations to the East Texas Food Bank through the “iCAN’’ campuswide canned food drive, which continues through Dec. 10.

The event is spearheaded by UT Tyler students, including members of the Student Nurses Association and Nursing Christian Fellowship. The Office of Student Development is assisting with the project.

“The East Texas Food Bank is in desperate need of food right now. They have almost no cans at all, and many people may not be fortunate enough to have food for the holiday season,’’ said Elizabeth Clark, a worker in Office of Student Development and one of the students who is coordinating the project.
