Warwick to Bring Solid Gold Christmas to Cowan Center Tickets to Warwick’s Solid Gold Christmas concert are on sale at the Cowan Center box office for $46, $36 and $26. Employee discounts and complimentary student tickets are not available to special events. All proceeds from the concert will fund scholarships for the UT Tyler School of Visual and Performing Arts. Prior to the concert, the Cowan Center will host a Christmas reception in the White Lobby. With more than 50 hit singles including “I Say a Little Prayer,’’ “Don’t Make Me Over’’ and “Walk on By,’’ the legendary Warwick is the second most charted female of the past 40 years. As the voice behind a decade of classic tunes written with her in mind by Burt Bacharach and Hal David, Warwick established herself as an international superstar in the 1960s. Backed by a full band, she will perform many of her biggest hits, plus holiday favorites. The concert is sponsored by Dermatology Associates of Tyler.
