Sean Le contributes items for the men and women serving in Iraq during a UT Tyler Student Nurses’ Association luncheon Nov. 17 in the Braithwaite Buildng. SNA luncheons were held on all three UT Tyler campuses to wrap up Operation S.N.A.G. (Student Nurses Actively Giving), an effort to collect items for the troops serving in Iraq. More>>>

Music faculty will perform “Mary Songs: A Musical Portrait of Mary, Mother of Jesus’’ at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 2, in the Cowan Center’s Braithwaite Recital Hall.

UT Tyler Group Presents International Patriots Day
Inaugural International Patriots Day was celebrated on Nov. 10 in The University of Texas Tyler’s University Center. The International Patriots at UT Tyler student organization sponsored the event.
The purpose of the celebration was to share world culture with others, as well as to educate about various cultures, according to senior Julien Bataillard of France, the historian of the International Patriots organization. More>>>

Scholastic Book Fair Dec. 1-2
The Department of Early Childhood, Reading and Special Education will sponsor a scholastic book fair Wednesday-Thursday, Dec. 1-2. Books will range from preschool through adult.
