Germ Detector

Ashlie Bodeler uses the “Glow Bar’’ UV disclosing lamp to check for germs while visiting a booth staffed by Level II nursing student Paul Bear, during the recent health fair in the University Center. The Glow Bar is a teaching tool to illustrate the importance of hand-washing. The proper method for cleaning hands is to wash them with soap and lukewarm water for 30 seconds to one minute, Bear said.
