Meet the Advising Staff The UT Tyler Academic Advising Center staff includes (from left) academic advisor Dana Welch, senior secretary/veterans certifying official Shelia Jones, director Janna Chancey and academic advisors Carol Gilliland and Sharon Moore. The center is now open to assist students with advisement and course selection. Located on the second floor of the University Center, the advising center’s operating hours are 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday and Wednesday through Friday and 8 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. Students may see a counselor by appointment or walk-in. For information, call 565-5718.
