Academic Advising Center Opens to Assist StudentsThe University of Texas at Tyler Academic Advising Center is now open to assist students with advisement and course selection, Janna Chancey, director, announced. Located on the second floor of the University Center, the advising center’s operating hours are 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday and Wednesday through Friday and 8 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Tuesday. Students may see a counselor by appointment or walk-in. The advising center’s main goal is to assist students in completing the core curriculum requirements for any UT Tyler baccalaureate degree. The center also will help establish a tutorial and early intervention program.
