Sgt. Burgett to Supervise Police Operations

University Police Chief Charles Oliphint has assigned Sgt. Robert Burgett to supervise operations on the UT Tyler campus.

Sgt. Burgett is not new to UT Tyler. Employed with The University of Texas Health Center at Tyler police department for five years, Sgt. Burgett has worked on our campus often.

Sgt. Burgett has day-to-day responsibilities for a staff of six officers and five guards. Johnna Thedford, Chief Oliphint's coordinator at UTHCT, will supervise administrative support at the UT Tyler campus police office. Caroline Simmons is the department's secretary.
