HUB and Small Contractor Development Courses Available at UT Tyler
UT Tyler will host “The Basics,” a development program for Historically Underutilized Businesses and small contractors, Wendy Minix, UT Tyler HUB coordinator, announced.
The program is sponsored by UT System, UT Tyler, UT Health Center at Tyler and Quoin, which is a chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America.
The program will be offered 6 – 8 p.m. Thursdays beginning Sept. 22 - Oct. 27 in the UT Tyler Robert R. Muntz Library, room 401.
The fee for all six sessions will be $50.
“This program is designed to assist HUB and small contractors in understanding the basic elements of running a commercial construction business,” Minix said.
It will focus on both technical and administrative skills as well as how to conduct business with AGC General Contractors throughout North and East Texas.
