Graduate Scholarships Available Through Jack Kent Cooke Foundation
Seniors at The University of Texas at Tyler, as well as UT Tyler alumni who graduated in May 2001 and after, may compete for graduate scholarships up to $50,000 a year for up to six years through the Jack Kent Cooke Foundation, Dr. Mil Clark, UT Tyler associate vice president for academic affairs, announced.
Students who wish to apply for the scholarship must submit an application through the Office of Academic Affairs. UT Tyler is eligible to nominate a maximum of two students for the scholarship.

Graduate scholarships will be awarded in early summer 2006 for use during the 2006-07 academic year. The scholarship can be renewed in subsequent years based on performance.
The Foundation is a private, independent foundation established in 2000 by the estate of Jack Kent Cooke to help young people of exceptional promise reach their full potential through education. It focuses in particular on individuals with financial need.
