Freshman and Seniors Participate in National Survey The National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) will be emailed to every freshman and senior to determine what kind of college experience UT Tyler students are receiving. Questions will focus on how and where students spend their time, the nature and quality of their interactions with faculty members and peers, and what they have gained from their classes and other aspects of their college experience. The results will assist UT Tyler in determining positive experiences and what needs improvement. Students who participate will be entered in a drawing for cash and other prizes. Freshmen are classified as those with 30 or less credit hours and seniors as those who qualify for graduation or have 24 credit hours or less remaining as of October 2004. The survey is anonymous and takes less than 15 minutes to complete. If you believe you qualify to participate in the survey, but do not receive an email invitation by Feb. 25 th, please visit UT Tyler’s website at www.uttyler.edu for more information and instructions on how to contact the NSSE survey administrators.
