“Leahy” Five sisters and four brothers between the ages of 23 and 36 make up this sensational Celtic group that was hand-picked by Shania Twain to open her world tour in 1998. The Canadian born performers have been dazzling audiences worldwide with their high-octane fusion of sounds that perfectly couple their foot-stomping, toe-tapping choreography. The New York Times called their performance, “striving energy…intoxicating!” Ticket prices are $30, $23 and $16 and can be purchased at the Cowan Center box office, open 10 a.m. – 4p.m., Monday through Friday. Students may receive a complimentary ticket by presenting their current ID at the Cowan Center box office. Two hundred complimentary student tickets are available to each event, and are issued on a first-come, first-served basis. UT Tyler employees may receive up to two discounted tickets per event.
