Webb, Turpin Join Athletics Staff
Stephani Webb and Kristee Turpin

Stefani Webb of Dallas has been named the head coach of the women’s soccer team at UT Tyler and Kristee Turpin of Amarillo has been named the university’s head volleyball coach, UT Tyler athletics director Dr. Howard Patterson announced.

The two new coaches were introduced during a press conference Feb. 4 at the Herrington Patriot Center. More>>>

Fox Sports to Feature UT Tyler

UT Tyler Pass Rate 95 Percent on Engineering Licensing Exam

Seniors at UT Tyler recently achieved a 95 percent pass rate on the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam given by the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying, Dr. Troy Henson, dean of the College of Engineering and Computer Science, announced.

UT Tyler’s pass rate on the fall 2004 licensing exam was the highest among Texas universities that had more than one senior taking the exam, according to data from the Texas Board of Professional Engineers. UT Austin and Texas Tech University achieved second highest, each with a pass rate of 89 percent. More>>>

Health Clinic to Remain Open During Spring Break

The University of Texas Health Clinic will remain open during spring break to serve the university community. Clinic hours will remain the same -- 8 a.m. – noon Monday, Wednesday and Friday and 1 – 5 p.m. Tuesday and Thursday.

The clinic provides health care services to UT Tyler students, faculty and staff at its temporary site at 3410 Varsity Drive, south of the UT Tyler engineering building.  More>>>
