Ida R. MacDonald, director of student services, was elected to a two-year term as secretary of the Texas University Counseling Center Directors Association. Dr. James A. Hatfield, professor of theatre, was elected to serve a two-year term as a member of the Governing Council for the National Association of Theatre in Higher Education. ATHE is a national theatre organization devoted to higher education and the theatre profession, which has a significant national and growing international membership. Dr. Hatfield will be the first person to assume this new office and represent the organization to external constituencies.
