Dr. Jim Tarter, dean of the College of Business and Technology, is also pictured.

Epsilon Pi Tau, an international honor society for professions in technology, installed a charter chapter, Delta Gamma, and initiated its first members at UT Tyler.

Twenty-three students and four faculty were initiated during an April 15 ceremony at UT Tyler.

The new members are undergraduate or graduate students working toward a technology or human resource development degree.

Membership is by invitation only. Undergraduate students must have a 3.5 GPA and completed 16 upper-level hours. Graduate students must have a 3.75 GPA and completed nine graduate hours. Doctoral students must have a 3.75 GPA and completed 18 graduate hours. Professionals who support technology may also be initiated.
