Key partners of the Tyler GEAR UP grant project met Oct. 6 at The University of Texas at Tyler to begin training for the project. International President of Honor Society to Visit UT Tyler Dr. Daniel J. Pesut, president of Sigma Theta Tau International, will preside over the induction of nursing students into the UT Tyler Iota Nu chapter and serve as keynote speaker of a workshop for nursing professionals and students Oct. 13 - 14. UT Tyler Students Win Awards at LSAMP Conference Two students from UT Tyler won awards at The University of Texas System Louis Stokes Alliance for Minority Participation Undergraduate Student Research conference in Richardson, Texas Sept. 21 – 23. A total of 34 undergraduate students representing the UT System campuses presented their research in either oral or poster session competitions. More...
