Individual Tickets Available for Miami City Ballet
Individual tickets for the Miami City Ballet are now available, announced Susan Thomae-Morphew, director of UT Tyler Cowan Center.
The ballet will take the stage 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25 at the UT Tyler Cowan Center.
The Braithwaite Performing Arts Program is jointly presented by UT Tyler Cowan Center and East Texas Symphony Orchestra.
Tickets are $46, $36 and $26, and can be purchased at the UT Tyler Cowan Center box office. Box office hours are 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Monday through Friday. Students may receive a complimentary ticket by presenting their current ID at the Cowan Center box office. Two hundred complimentary student tickets are available to each event, and are issued on a first-come, first-served basis. UT Tyler employees may receive up to two discounted tickets per event.
Under the artistic direction of Edward Villella, the 20-year-old dance troupe has risen to be one of our country’s largest and most successful companies. His incredible dancers, armed with their finely honed technique and known for their explosive, rhythmic interpretations of neo-classical ballet, have captivated audiences across the globe. Their performance will feature The Four Temperaments, a ballet by George Balanchine.
