A Constitution Day ceremony was held Tuesday, Sept. 20 at the Riter Carillon Bell Tower to commemorate the signing of the U.S. Constitution.

Speakers included Dustin Tallent, UT Tyler Student Government Association president; Dr. Rodney Mabry, UT Tyler president; Dr. James Newsom, UT Tyler senior history lecturer; and Mr. John Love, chief staff attorney to U.S. District Judge Leonard Davis.

The Sons of the American Revolution and the Daughters of the American Revolution were present, and the UT Tyler Student Chorale performed “Give Me Your Tired, Your Poor.”
