Nacogdoches senior Lanier Hodge (right) tosses a disc on the new UT Tyler Student Government Association Disc Golf Course while Dustin Tallent, UT Tyler SGA president, looks on. The course is located on the southeast edge of campus by the tennis courts and intramural field, and is open to the public. Anyone with a UT Tyler ID can check out discs at the Herrington Patriot Center front desk and receive a course map that includes a score card. The UT Tyler SGA allocated $2,000 from its budget for the installation of the course. Signage and tee posts will be placed on the course in the upcoming weeks.
