Tuition Revenue Bonds Approved for UT Tyler
June 5, 2006

Engineering BuildingThe Texas Legislature has approved two capital improvement projects for The University of Texas at Tyler to complete engineering and science education and research facilities and continue expanding enrollment at the fastest-growing university in the state, Dr. Dale Lunsford, vice president of student affairs and external relations, announced.

Forty-three point two million dollars in tuition revenue bonds was authorized to complete, renovate and expand engineering and science classrooms and labs.

Two UT Tyler alumni have been selected by Tyler Sister Cities to teach English in Yachiyo, Japan for one year.
