The University of Texas at Tyler recognized Bob and Mary Irwin during the university's baseball and softball games on April 2. Mr. and Mrs. Irwin donated $1.2 million toward the construction of the UT Tyler baseball/softball complex. The 2004 Patriots of the Year also threw out the first pitch for each game
