Eligible Freshmen and Seniors still have a chance to win an iPod and other prizes!
Dr. Howard Patterson (right), dean of student affairs, presents Chad Myers (left), senior health and kinesiology major, a new iPOD. Myers was selected randomly after participating in the 2006 National Survey of Student Engagement.
Eligible students can still complete the survey and be entered into the drawing for one more iPOD as well as gift certificates.
This is UT Tyler's 7th year to participate in the annual survey of freshman and senior students. NSSE is a national study on college students in which UT Tyler is participating and is an excellent way to provide feedback on the college experience.
Questions focus on how and where students spend their time, the nature and quality of their interactions with faculty members and peers, and what they have gained from their classes and other aspects of their college experience. Results from the survey will help UT Tyler determine what needs improvement and to build on positive experiences.
