When fans of "Deal or No Deal" left Will Edmond, he was in a deal-making mood.

The University of Texas at Tyler student will be featured on the popular NBC television show at 8 p.m. Wednesday.

The telecast showing his quest to win a $1 million started on Monday and ended shortly after his game began.

Edmond taped the show in Hollywood last November. More than 100 cheering UT Tyler students - including the school mascot and some of the cheerleaders - were in attendance and are being featured prominently on the telecast.

Edmond was described by a fellow student in the audience as being the "big man on campus."

He was picked from 2,000 contestants during an audition in Shreveport.

So how much does he win? Edmond won't tell. He signed a confidentiality clause that prohibits him from disclosing how much he takes home.
