UT Tyler NCF to Hold Quilt Raffle

The University of Texas at Tyler Nurses Christian Fellowship will hold a Guatemalan quilt raffle, noon - 1 p.m. Monday, April 23, in the Braithwaite Building room 1025, Belinda Deal, UT Tyler NCF advisor and senior lecturer of nursing, announced.

The raffle serves as an annual fundraiser for the NCF Guatemala trip, where UT Tyler nursing students assist the Guatemala school of nursing, Escuela Nacional de Enfermeria.

Proceeds from the raffle benefit a Guatemalan nursing student in the form of a scholarship to the school, which has a partnership with UT Tyler.

Tickets cost a dollar each; six for $5; or 15 for $10. They may be purchased by contacting Deal, 903.566.7120 or bdeal@uttyler.edu.
