Safety Week on UT Tyler Campus

UT Tyler’s first Safety Week begins Aug. 27.

Scheduled plans include:

• Facebook safety seminar, 7:30 p.m. Aug. 28, University Pines.

• Facebook safety seminar, Tuesday, 7:30 p.m. Ornelas Hall, Sept. 4; and 9 p.m. Patriot Village.

• Safety information also will be displayed around campus, and free whistles will be given away at various events with Campus Assault Response Effort (CARE) information.

UT Tyler also will plan additional events in September for National Safety Awareness Month.
