Web site for UT Tyler's SACS Project Now Online

The Web site for UT Tyler's Southern Association of Colleges and Schools re-affirmation project may be found at http://www.uttyler.edu/sacs2010/, Dr. Donna Dickerson, UT Tyler vice provost for academic affairs and dean of graduate studies, announced.

Data and information will be added weekly and monthly. Currently, the Web site will provide information regarding the basics of SACS reaffirmation requirements such as process, deadlines, committees and memoranda, among other items.

Also included are resources for developing outcome assessment plans and links to other universities with SACS Web sites.

The university is scheduled to be reviewed in 2010 for re-affirmation of its accreditation by the Commission on Colleges of SACS.
