UT Tyler Mourns Passing of Steve Wilson

Steve Wilson, Information Systems and Communication director at The University of Texas at Tyler, has died after battling cancer, Dr. Sherri Whatley, UT Tyler associate vice president and chief information officer of Accountability and Information Technology/ Institutional Analysis, announced.

Wilson died Sunday, Oct. 7 at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.

“During his 30 years of service at UT Tyler, Steve uniquely touched so many of our lives, and we are forever blessed to have so many wonderful memories with him,” said Whatley. “Please remember Steve’s family in your thoughts and prayers.”
