UT Tyler USAC to Start Plans for University Appreciation Week

The UT Tyler University Staff Advisory Council is preparing for spring 2008.

Among other projects, the USAC will begin plans for University Appreciation Week, which is scheduled for April 21 – 25, 2008.

“When we return (from Winter Break), we will be planning and organizing University Appreciation Week,” said Belinda Dean, UT Tyler payroll technician and USAC chair.

“We are encouraging ideas and suggestions from the staff and faculty for a fun-filled week.”

The USAC, an official body of the university, was formed by President Rodney Mabry to further the fulfillment of UT Tyler’s mission and assist the President with concerns and special interest needs for the benefit of UT Tyler as a whole.

The 2007-08 officers are Dean, chair; Eva Burnett, chair-elect; and Pamela Suell, secretary.

USAC meets on the third Wednesday of every month. Questions, suggestions or ideas may be submitted to department representatives or the chair.
