New Locations for Departments in UT Tyler's College of Education, Psychology
January 11, 2008

Departments in The University of Texas at Tyler College of Education and Psychology will begin the spring semester in new locations.
The office of Dr. Ross Sherman, UT Tyler chair and professor of educational leadership and policy, is one of many offices that have relocated to the Hudnall-Pirtle-Roosth Building.
Departments in The University of Texas at Tyler College of Education and Psychology will begin the spring semester in new locations, Jesse Acosta, UT Tyler chief of staff, announced.
Students’ schedules should not be affected, as all classrooms and offices have been completely moved to their new locations in the Hudnall-Pirtle-Roosth Building.
“Dean William Geiger, faculty and department heads in the college were consulted to ensure an efficient and successful move,” Acosta said.
The departments and their new locations are:
- Educational leadership and policy – HPR, room 131.
- Psychology and Counseling – HPR, room 223.
- School of Education – Science Building, room 247 (located in the HPR Building). The School of Education is the combination of the departments of curriculum and instruction and early childhood, reading and special education.
The shift comes after computer science and engineering departments were moved into the north building of the Ratliff Engineering and Science Complex last month.
