National Survey of Student Engagement at UT Tyler

Students at The University of Texas at Tyler are encouraged to participate in the National Survey of Student Engagement, Dr. Lou Ann Berman, UT Tyler assistant vice president for student success, announced.

All qualified freshmen and seniors will be invited to participate in the NSSE Survey, which is found at http://www.nssesurvey.org. (Students will need their Login ID from the NSSE invitation through student e-mail).

If students receive the NSSE survey e-mail and have questions or need additional assistance, call 812-856-5824 or e-mail help@nssesurvey.org.

“Completing the National Survey of Student Engagement will provide UT Tyler administrators with information directly from students to help us improve our curriculum and general campus life,” Berman said.

To be included, students must be classified as a freshman with 30 or less credit hours or a senior qualified for graduation with 24 credit hours or less remaining as of October 2007.

Everyone who completes a survey will receive a NSSE Completer Certificate that can be redeemed for a drink at Blends and Brews or Liberty Station. This offer will continue until May 31.
