Retirement, Financial Seminar Series for UT Tyler Employees

The UT Tyler Office of Human Resources, in conjunction with MetLife, will offer a four- part financial planning and retirement education series for employees entitled Retirewise beginning on April 2, Joe Vorsas, human resources director, announced.

The series will be 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. in the Herrington Patriot Center, room 2255 and will continue every consecutive Wednesday through Wednesday, April 23.

“This four-part series will give you the knowledge, guidance and answers to many of your financial planning and retirement questions,” Vorsas said. “You will receive a workbook with extensive information on financial and retirement planning.”

Registration deadline is Friday, March 28.

“This series was presented at UT Dallas and UT Southwestern and the reviews have been excellent,” Vorsas added. “Because of the copyrighted nature of the material and presentation we will not be able to video-tape the series. MetLife informs us that you must register and attend one or more of the seminars to receive the printed material and notebook.”
