Cyber Security Training Program Inauguration

As the featured guest, Texas Attorney General Greg Abbott spoke during UT Tyler’s inauguration of the Texas First-Responder Cyber Security Training Program held March 24.

UT Tyler formed a partnership with Mississippi State University’s renowned Center for Computer Security Research to create this institute, which will have research and first-responder training components.

Collaborators in the venture include the Office of the Attorney General, UT Tyler Police Department, Tyler Police Department, Smith County Sheriff’s Department and Mississippi State University.
