UT Tyler Veterans Golf Tournament

Pars for Patriots, a golf tournament open to UT Tyler student-veterans, will be held April 2 at Emerald Bay Golf Course in Bullard.

It will be a four-man team/eight- team scramble. A practice run and meet and greet is set for 1 p.m. at the golf course parking lot. The tournament will start at 2 p.m. A hamburger dinner also will be served.

“It is a day for the ‘older veterans’ to thank the ‘younger veterans’ for taking over where they left off,” said Shelia Jones, administrative assistant II, who also serves as the university’s veterans certifying official.
