UT Tyler, UT Health Science Center at Tyler Fun Run

The University of Texas at Tyler and UT Health Science Center at Tyler will hold a joint fun run Saturday, April 12.

The fun run will begin at 9 a.m. Participants will meet in front of the UT Tyler Herrington Patriot Center to start the two-mile walk/run on the university’s Wellness Trail.

Open to both institutions’ employees, the event is part of Gov. Rick Perry’s Texas Round-Up Health and Fitness Initiative that was created in 2004.

Registration is not required; however, employees are encouraged take the opportunity to record their participation online through the Texas Round-Up Web site.

Representatives from the Northeast Texas Medical Reserve Corps. will command a water station for participants.
