The UT Tyler Center for Global Education will hold Passport Day 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28 at the University Center, Dr. Jill Blondin, center director, announced.

“The Center for Global Education has partnered with the U.S. Postal Service to provide this important service – the first ever UT Tyler Passport Day – to the campus community and the public. We want to make applying for a passport convenient for everyone,” Blondin said.

Cost is $140 for adults ($95 for minors) plus a $25 execution fee. Photo services also will be available for $15 per person. All passport applicants must provide their social security number, obtain proper paperwork prior to the event and not sign the application until instructed to do so by the acceptance agent.

As a reminder, those who study abroad must have a valid passport, Blondin added.
