UPDATE: The photo shoot has been rescheduled to noon - 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10 at the ballpark.
University students, faculty and staff are needed to participate in a photo shoot noon – 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 3 at the UT Tyler Irwin Field, Derrith Bondurant, director of alumni relations, announced.
Participants will spell out ‘4 – 0’ on the softball field to commemorate the university’s 40th anniversary. Students are asked to wear Patriot t-shirts of orange, white or blue.
Lunch will be served afterwards.
“The photo will be used as the front cover of our invitation to the 40th Anniversary Alumni Gala this spring, which features the 2012 Distinguished Alumni and inaugural induction of the Patriot Athletics Hall of Fame,” Bondurant said."The Butcher Shop of Longview is catering the cookout of footlong hotdogs, fries and beverages. And there’s baseball practice and a baseball game at 3 p.m. to kick off the season," she added.
