Three Patriot coaches were recognized in an American Southwest Conference article regarding the annual celebration of National Girls and Women in Sports Day this month.

Former NCAA Division III ASC female student-athletes now coaching/working in the league include Cassi Little, Patriot women’s basketball assistant coach; and Christy Shipley-Gipson and Whitney Wyly, both Patriot softball assistant coaches.

Wyly helped the Patriots to a third-place finish in the NCAA Division III finals last May, while Little and Shipley-Gipson played for UT Dallas and East Texas Baptist University, respectively.
