Softball Clinches Second ASC East Crown

After dropping the first game of a four-game series with Ozarks, the UT Tyler softball team wasted no time in taking a Sunday afternoon sweep over the Eagles, 4-1, 13-0. The win in game one clinched the American Southwest Conference east division crown for the Patriots, for just the second time in school history.

With the two wins on Sunday, UT Tyler reached the 30-win mark for the fifth season in a row, running its regular season mark to 31-7 overall, and 18-4 in the ASC. More...
